Led ceiling lights are mounted directly on the roof. There is no space between the ceiling and the light, as opposed to chandeliers or hanging types. Unlike recessed lighting, mounted flush lights do not have any components over the ceiling itself. Recessed ceiling lamps are often round and may have globes or open or close styles. Since the lights in recessed lights need to be replaced just like any other type of light, it’s important to know how to open them, except for the open styles that are easily accessible.

Globe Style Recessed
Locate one or more flat-headed screws on the metal collar led ceiling lights. The collar will be the round part in which the globe is inserted. Place a hand on the bottom of the globe and support it at all times. It will loosen and you do not want it to fall. Rotate at least one of the screws on the collar counterclockwise to loosen it. Unscrew the screw removing it from the rim and you should be able to remove the entire world without completely removing the screw. If there is more than one screw, you may need to loosen more than one of them to open the light.
Closed Style Recessed
Locate ornamental finial in the center of the bottom of the led ceiling lights. Hold the glass part of the light with one hand. It will loosen from light and you must prevent it from falling. Turn the finial counterclockwise to loosen it. When it is completely loose, carefully lower the other hand that supports the glass part to open the light. You must completely remove finial, so be careful not to let it go.
